COVERED BRIDGES AND COURT HOUSES
Since the culture of the one room school houses was during the late 1800s and early 1900s, I decided to also put on this blog the the relevant architecture that the school children would have been directly exposed to. Which would be the covered bridges that the children would have actually crossed, and the county court houses that they would have certainly seen on their trip into town.

This covered bridge was right off of US RT-50, and was centered within 3 miles of at least 5 schools.
NEW HOPE BRIDGE/BROWN COUNTY

Another covered bridge that was in the center of at least 5 schools. I am quite sure many students crossed through this bridge, or took refuge from a rain shower on their way home.
