UNION COUNTY COURTHOUSE

POTTERSBURG COVERED BRIDGE/UNION COUNTY





ALLEN TOWNSHIP

Bridge was moved from a location about 1/2 mile north of the present area.
One of the original one room schoolhouses sat almost beside it.

SPAIN CREEK COVERED BRIDGE/UNION COUNTY

This bridge was in the near vicinity of two old one room schoolhouses, 
it would be quite certain that numerous of these students crossed this bridge.

BIGELOW COVERED BRIDGE/UNION COUNTY






UNION TOWNSHIP

This bridge is located in the near vicinity of where three one room
schoolhouses were located. Numerous students would have certainly crossed this bridge.


STRENG ROAD TRUSS BRIDGE/UNION COUNTY




UNION TOWNSHIP

Being built in 1914, this bridge was around at the time the local one room
schoolhouses were still in operation in the area. There were 2 schools in the immediate area.

This school was the last one room schoolhouse used in Hamilton county,
 it was used till 1952. The building to the right was built around 1931 and was used
as an annex for the lower grades, and was known as the Colony House.
