SCHOOL/WARREN COUNTY
FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP
This school is a mystery.. I have searched on 1875 maps and can not find any New Jersey mentioned in the area of this school. However, this school was built in 1855 and names could have easily been changed.
Hi Aimee.., kinda like this posts says..., I just happened upon it while I was tracking down other schools on the old maps. This school some how was overlooked and not placed on any of the maps I could find. It is very difficult to find any information on most schools, that is why I am compiling this blog. If you ever find out something, please let me know..
The people who settled Carlisle, were from New Jersey, and the was the "New" Jersey Settlement.
